Food Distribution January 28, 2022

It is with grateful hearts that the Board of Directors of New Earth Christian Ministries wishes to thank our supporters for $1,500 worth of food sent to three churches last week in Thomassique, Santo and Bon Repos. Many families with little children benefitted from this food shipment. Rice, beans, oil, corn meal, spaghetti and salmon were distributed to these folks living under such dangerous conditions that it makes it almost impossible for them to leave their homes to buy food and other necessities even if those things were available for purchase. The voice mails we received thanking God and New Earth brought tears to our eyes as we listened to our Haitian brothers and sisters in Christ shed tears of joy and praised God for this wonderful gift.

Guerda, a mother of five, has been on the run since she fled her community because of gang violence. She sent an emotional voice mail filled with gratitude for the food she and her family have received from New Earth. She shared that she had been sleeping with her children on the floor of a one room structure with another family and that they had run out of food. Having a special delivery of oil, rice, spaghetti and more was like receiving manna from heaven. "Thank you, thank you so very much," Guerda says.

Janine, a mother of three, who sends her thanks, says that she and her children have been hiding under their bed for three days because of gang violence and gunfire. When the food delivery came to their door, they knew God had remembered them.

The church leaders who have received these food supplies send their thanks on behalf of their communities.

You can continue to bless these precious people of God on a monthly basis by sending your tax deductible check to the address below the donate button, or you can give directly online. Our hope is to keep our churches alive trusting, that by God's grace, we will be able to train our Haitian friends stand on their own. Meanwhile, we are blessed to be a blessing to Haiti under such deplorable conditions. The strangle hold these gangs have over Haiti cannot last forever. We covet your prayers and support in the Name of Jesus.
