Empowering Through Education
Education is an important key to empowering local communities. To ensure a better tomorrow, we must invest in education. We can give a person a fish and he/she can live for a day, but if we teach them how to fish, they can sustain themselves for a lifetime.
New Earth Christian Ministries is in the process of building a multi-purpose structure to house a school, a community center and a place of worship. New Earth will continue to support smart young people in their pursuit of higher education while encouraging the little ones in kindergarten to embrace knowledge while teaching them to fish.
We hope and pray for a miracle to finance the construction of the multi-purpose building. Contact anyone of the team members to learn more and stand in the gap with us.
Making a Difference
We'd like to introduce you to Christella Salomon from Thomassique.
Christella is entering nursing school in the town of Hinche near her Thomassique village. She’s very active in her church and works with the youth group. Her grandfather was the pastor of that church for many years. Christella never knew her father. Her mother, Linase, is the pastor with other leaders in the Thomassique church that we faithfully support.
Christella wants to become a nurse so she can serve her community. After being admitted to the nursing program and paying the entrance fee, she needed help with the purchase of school books, uniforms, and travel fees.
With the support of generous New Earth donors, she will be able to receive her training and give back to the community she loves!
