Amazing Deliverance

Although the kidnapping of the CAM missionaries in Haiti remains a mystery to all because of lack of information from day one until today, We continue to pray for the salvation and the wellbeing of all people in the island. At last report, five of the 17 missionaries have been released and negotiations continue. So far, no known ransom has been paid. Missions’ workers and government officials have discouraged payment rationalizing that payouts would only embolden gangs such as 400 Mawozo resulting in more kidnappings.

NECM (New Earth Christian Ministries) was able to connect with and support leaders from the SouthWest area of Haiti recently hit by the magnitude 7.2 earthquake by sending food and medical supplies. A 14 year old struggling with stomach issues due to poor sanitation received medical attention. We were able to pay for her medical exam, lab work, and treatment thanks to the support of our ministry partners. There will be no outward Christmas celebration for the Haitian people this year because of gang violence and food insecurity. The rising cost of gasoline and other goods also causes much grief for everyone on the island. Once again, thanks to our ministry partners, NECM clandestinely distributes food to churches and orphanages in great need.

We are thankful for Emmanuel, God with us, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our hearts and spirits. Come thou long expected Jesus, born to set your people free. Please continue to stand in the gap with the precious people of Haiti. God is not finished with His work there.
