Gangsters & Missionaries

Today is Tuesday November 9, 2021. I am lamenting over the news of the 17 missionaries kidnapped in Haiti on their way to the airport. No one is exempt in this gangster-controlled environment. Gangsters, gangsters! Who are they? Where are they from? How have they overpowered and defeated the Haitian government? Why are they allowed to do such great harm? Gangsters have microphones to talk openly about their operations. They can get to orphanages and places of worship to abduct and kill children. They rape our young girls, kidnap and kill leaders of the church. Who will speak for us? Who will fight for us?

So many unanswered questions. The people, the people! The people are prisoners inside their own homes. They live in fear for they know even in the sanctity of their homes they are not safe.
Please join me in praying for the safe return of all 17 missionaries. Also pray for the victims who have no one to speak or plead for them. Pray for those who still struggle with the aftermath of the recent earthquake and the added misery of the arriving deportees. Nevertheless, Haiti’s deliverance is coming soon. God sees His people and knows their pain. I believe it. Lord, in your mercy!
